The Brain Drift to Far Away Lands
It happens a few times a day, I'll be going about the day when I get an idea. It's my own brain drift to far away lands. Mostly the idea's have to do with one or two projects I've been thinking about for awhile now. I'll half blank out and play it through my head and think wow, I should write this down, this seems pretty cool!
Then when I get near my book I think, "Nah, it's not worth writing down now. I'll wait until I get some more idea's."
I've written tv scripts in scriptwriting classes before, but never a full length feature film. This past new year's my resolution was to go out and do more random things. When I would usually say, "I can't afford that," or, "i'm going to hurt a lot by the end of this," I went along most times and had a blast. I think this new year's resolution will be to write ONE outline and script for a tv series and ONE full feature movie script. AND write down more, regardless.
In one book I have, it's half filled with short stories I would write when I couldn't sleep at night. I'd grab the book, put the pen to the paper and start writing with no idea what I was going to write next. Sometimes it went nowhere, but sometimes it got interesting. I think I may start doing that again, as this wave of un-sleep-ability (can't think of the word....made a good enough one up....wait a minute, insomnia, there it is. anywho...) waves over once more.
On another note, Toronto was great. It was nice to see the family again and I wish I had a few more days there to hang out with them for a little longer. Most of the cousins are older now, so there'll be more weddings coming sooner than later.
On that note, it's 3am and i'm starting to feel a bit sleepy. Seeing that there's work training tomorrow for a possible new job, I better get some sleep and not look like a zombie tomorrow. Even though it'll be Halloween I suppose it be best I go out there and seem professional or something. Apparantly these boss people want employee's who are not zombies. Clearly they are missing out.
My favourite zombie movie is Shawn of the Dead. I'm glad I bought that.
Now time for sleep
